Foundations and Tinted Moisturizers

Lancôme Teint Miracle. As I have mentioned before, this is my favorite. It’s very light, smooth, has sheer coverage and gives skin a more dewy finish.  That being said, it is better to use during the winter as it can make skin look oily in the warmer months. The container is also very nice and sturdy. It will also last a very long time; I have had mine for four or five months and I still have over half of it left. One pump is plenty to cover your face.
Lancôme Teint Idole Fresh Wear:  This foundation provides a little more coverage and has more of a matte finish than Teint Miracle.  This would be a good foundation for combination/oily skin.
Revlon Colorstay:  This is one of the better inexpensive foundations.  I am most impressed by its staying power.  I wore it today and it stayed on all day. My skin also appeared less oily.  I would say this is the best foundation for summer. It does have full coverage, but it does not feel heavy. It does have a fairly strong smell, but it goes away once applied.
Cover Girl Aqua Smooth Foundation is one of the worst.  I have yet to find any Cover Girl product that is actually good.  This is in a compact and the consistency is strange; something between a liquid and powder.  The coverage was not good and it made my skin look greasy. I’m really shocked they still make this.

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse:  This is also a good inexpensive foundation, but it takes some getting used to.    If too much is used, it does have a tendency to “ball up” and it is difficult to blend end.  This probably is not the best matte foundation out there, but it does keep skin from looking as oily.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Makeup: Their description says medium coverage and a natural, semi matte finish.  It did not look like that on me.  It was very matte and had full coverage; my skin looked like porcelain.  Which is not bad, but not a look you want to pull off everyday.  And if you have an eczema flare up on your face, this foundation will accentuate the dryness but will cover up the redness.  And it does stay in place.  If you have very oily skin, and rarely have an eczema flare up, I would recommend this product.
Neutrogena Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturizer: I would avoid if you have very fair skin.  The lightest shade was still way too dark for me.  Otherwise, it was a good tinted moisturizer.
Aveeno Positively Radiant Tinted Moisturizer: Once again, the lightest shade is a bit too dark for very fair skin.  This also made my skin itch for a few minutes after application, so I had to return it.  For what it is worth,  my skin had a nice glow and dewy appearance for the short time I had it on.
Sephora Collection Tinted Moisturizer: my favorite tinted moisturizer.  The lightest shade is just right and brightens the skin up on days you want to look more natural or are short on time.

Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation.  This is somethng between a tinted moiturizer and a foundation.  It only comes in one shade, and is supposed to match your skin tone once applied. It didn't do that for me.  It would be fine for people with with skin darker than mine.  Another problem I had is that this is not that easy to blend.  It does have an SPF 30, which I love and it smells like oranges.
