Golden Look

9:36 AM

I love the gold trend for this summer, so today I used MAC's Surf The Ocean Crushed Metallic Pigments and Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner to create golden, shimmery eyes.  One thing I love about gold eyeshdaow is that it makes you look more awake.

Products Used:
Urban Decay Primer Potion in Greed (light, sheer gold)
MAC Surf The Ocean Crushed Metallic Pigment (only the gold pigment)
Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara
Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Baked ( a gold/bronze)
Lancome Color Design Lipstick in Pale Lip
Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
Lancome Teint Idole Fresh Wear foundation
Smashbox Halo Powder
Sephora Collection Harmony Trio Bronzer in Apricot (rose, copper and gold shimmer)
Sephora Collection Concealer Palette

I always do my eyes first in case of any fall out; this is especially important for this look. I applied the Primer Potion in Greed first, then applied the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer while that dried.  Using a crease brush, I applied the gold from Surf The Ocean from the crease down and blended very well.  I suggest buying some makeup applicators, which look similar to Q-tips, but one end is more pointed and the other more rounded off.  After that, I applied the 24/7 liner along the entire length of the lower lash line.  If you have a lot of fall out from the shadow,  use some makeup remover and a cotton balll or Kleenex to remove.  Afer doing that, I applied a little concealer where needed and applied the foundation.  Afterwards, I used th Smashbox Halo all over, and the Harmony Bronzer on my cheek bones.  Finally, I appled Pale Lip lipstick.  This is one of the best nude lip colors for fair skin.  It isn't too dark, and instead of having a tan appearance, this one is a pale pink.
