One of the most interesting products I have used.

Up until a few weeks ago, I was just a makeup and skincare junkie.  Now I am starting to add hair products to the list since I got sick of my hair looking dried out.  A few weeks ago, my favorite Sephora associate gave me samples of a restortative hair mask for very dry hair.  She gave me a short summary of it and I tried it the next day.  The samples were of Ojon's Damage Reverse Restorative Hair Treatment. I noticed two things about the product immediatley.  One was the smell.  It doesn't smell bad, it just has a unique scent.  At first, it smelled like a mix of chocolate and cigarette smoke.  Strange, right?  That nearly put me off, but I decided to give it a chance.  Secondly, the texture was odd.  When you open the jar, the treatment looks solid and impossible to apply to the hair.  But all you need to do is rub some product between your hand and it turns into an oil.  Don't worry, it is not as messy as it sounds.  Unlike most treatments, this is not applied in the shower.  You put it on dry hair. I like to let it sit on my hair overnight, or all day if I am hanging around the house.  After I rinsed it out, my hair felt smooth, soft and healthy.  Another added bonus (at least for me) is that it made my hair look darker.  I have naturally red undertones in my hair, and this product took a lot of that out for a few days. I used my samples a few more times and gradually got used to the smell.  After a couple of applications, it smells less like cigarettes and more "woodsy."  But I liked it so much that I bought it.  But it does make small section of my scalp itch a little but nothing bad and not enough to make me stop using the product.
