product spotlight 2-hair products.

I previously did a post like this on TIGI Bed Head products for curly hair.  But after using the products for a couple of weeks, I didn't like them.  The products really weighed my hair down.  I adjusted the amount I used, but it did not help.  So I went back to the drawing board and found a few products that works much better.

I have been using Biolage's Hydratherapie line, which inculdes shampoo, a conditioning balm and mousse.  All of which work really well without making my hair flat. And all of the products smell fabulous.  Luckily I was able to get the liter size shampoo bottle and a full size conditioning balm for $30.00 at the JC Penney salon.  They often have really good sales on their products.  I do use this line in conjunction with  a few other products.  The first being Paul Mitchell Gloss Drops, which go on dry hair.  This is basically an anti-frizz serum that also adds shine.  And it does just that and it takes a very small amount.  I have also been using Ojon's Restorative Hair Treatment (see previous post).  These products have made my hair look and feel so much better.  As a side note, I have really dry, frizzy and curly hair with seborrheic dermatitis.  Amost all of these products cause no irritatation.  I say almost all because the Ojon treatment causes very mild ithcing, but works so well without any longterm negative effects, that I continue to use it.

Up next I have some products from Joico's K-Pak line to try, and Redken's Ringlet curl cream. And if anyone wants to try the Redken Ringlet cream, you can get a trial size at Ulta for $5.00.
