Hello Kitty Parisienne Palette

Posted by Kristen Williford at 3:34 PM
Normally I am not a Hello Kitty fan at all. If anything, I find anything with her on it a bit childish. But the Paris theme on the new Mon Amour collection is too adorable. And I am a collector of all things Paris, so I fell in love. Even the nail files are too cute(which I didn't waste money on since I would never use them.) But I did pick up this cute little palette. It has four eyeshadows and a blush. The shadow colors include a pale lavendar, bright purple, shimmery gold beige and dark brown with a little bit of gold shimmer. The blush is a vibrant pinky coral. The eyeshadows are good. Nothing special, but decent quality and okay pigmentation. The most sheer is the lavendar and it can be a little difficult. The other three are pretty nice and apply well. The staying power is actually pretty good. The neutral colors stayed on all day(with primer) but the purples did not wear quite as well. The blush is amazing! Stays put and is very pigmented; you only need a little bit on your brush. This is certainly not a palette I needed and would prbably advise not getting if you already have similar shades that perform a little better. The palette itself is made of a hard plastic, but it feels very sturdy and feels nicer than you would think.

On Sephora's website, the outer design on the palette is different. The design they show is actually on the compact mirror(also adorable), not the palette.

I think of the two I would choose the blush! :) I really like this packaging, and I agree with you -- I am not into traditional Hello Kitty things either, but this is definitely more subdued and pretty, and seems like a nice collectable item (instead of toy-like). I would love to see the blush in a face of the day if you have time. :) Hope things are going well for you, Kristen! <3 Angie

The blush is definitley the star of the palette(besides the packaging) =) I will get a pic of the blush tomorrow and post it. Thank you, and hope you are well, too :)

Isn't it adorable? Well, that just means you can save more money by avoiding Sephora =)
I still have eczema flair ups now and then as well; it is certainly not any fun to deal with. Thank you so much for your comment and for following. I would be happy to follow back.

I love the Hello Kitty packaging but some say the quality of the shadows are not that great. I love that blush though. :)

I found your blog through Beautylish. :) I hope you visit my blog and follow back.

I think the quality of the eyeshadow is pretty decent; not amazing but not really bad. The blush is really gorgeous and pigmented though =)
Thank you for following and I followed back =)

I just ordered this and although I'm not a Hello Kitty fan I couldn't resist. Now I want all these cute palettes :)

I'm not a big Hello Kitty fan either, but their Mon Amour collection really won me over. The packaging is just too cute, and the quality is not too bad, either.
