The Body Shop Haul #2 and mini review6:06 PM
Yes, I went back =( I could not resist the temptation of a free gift, and a free gift made with my favorite scent. My best friend and I needed a much needed girls day, so we went to Atlanta to do a little shopping. The Body Shop had just moved to a new location and they were having a free gift with a $30 purchase and since I have a "Love Your Body" card, I get 10% off all purchases. Here is what I picked up:
1.) Shimmer Cubes in 07. The colors are gorgeous and the packaging is cute. The shadows are smooth and nicely pigmented. Included shades: ruby, dusted silver, argyle pink and rich bronze.
2.) Baked Shadow Duo in Quartz. Love this duo. This was used in a makeover I got during my last visit. The colors make blue eyes pop, stay on all day and are nicely pigmented. I am really impressed with this product.
3.) Pink Grapefruit and Coconut lip butters. The pink grapefruit really smells like grapefruit. If you are not a grapefruit person, do not try this one. The coconut lip butter smells like a tropical beach. They are moisturizing, but the effect does not seem to last very long.
Satsuma Body Butter mini, which is 1.7 oz and is normally $6.00 LOVE this product. It smells divine and leaves skin soft.
Satsuma Shower Gel 8.4 oz, which is normally $8.00
Satsuma Hand Sanitizer 2.0 oz..(I already had two of these..they smell wonderful)
Hemp Hand Protector, which is normally $10.00. This is a nice product; not quite sure if I love it yet. My hands did feel softer.
The stand out product that I will definitely purchase is the White Musk Libertine Eau de Parfum, which is fabulous! I have been wanting a new perfume, but did not want to spend an arm and a leg. Enter this gem. It is light, not too sweet and it actually stays on me. This is not a fragrance people a foot away are going to smell. Only someone standing right next will you smell it. It is $26 for 1.0 oz. The Body Shop describes it as "A bold new twist on musk, this sensual eau de parfum features a heady blend of cruelty-free musks at its top, heart and base, with sweet notes of Turkish delight, baby orchid and Chantilly cream."
Chocomania Body Butter. All I can say is yummy, lol. It doesn't have an overpowering or overly sweet scent. It absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling soft.
Shea Body Butter: I have not tried this one yet, but I can't imagine it being bad.
Nutriganics Smoothing Serum: Have not tried this either, and I am kind of scared to. But I will give it a try tomorrow and see how it does.
As a result of my recent purchases, I have two $15 off of $40 coupons, so I will be returning to get the White Musk Libertine and more of the Vitamin C Skin Boost =)
