Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Polish~April and Sugar~

8:55 PM

I know there has already been a lot of buzz about Buxom lip products and how amazing they are.  Well, I figure I should give my two cents from the perspective of someone that has dry and very sensitive lips.  Well, I love them like everyone else.  They are amazing.  Unlike the majority of glosses in the world, these do not have the disgusting thick and goopy feeling. The Buxom glosses are the perfect consistency: not too thick but not too thin.  They also come in a wide array of colors, so there is something for everyone.  The color payoff is really good for a gloss.  Some of the shades are still a bit sheer, though.  These glosses do have a slight plumping effect, which really does not make much of a difference.  Luckily, that was not a selling feature for me.  The best aspect of this gloss is that it actually feels moisturizing on my lips and that feeling lasts for about four hours.  And the same goes for the color.  I know minty scents in cosmetics is not everyone's cup of tea, but I adore it.  There is a refreshing, minty tingle that lasts for a long time. As of now, I only have two shades (but I do have a Buxom Lip Cream).  April is a shimmery icy pink that is great for everyday wear without wearing a neutral shade.  But if you do want a neutral shade, Sugar is great.  Sugar is a gorgeous rosy beige and is my favorite shade of gloss in my collection.  April is full size and I received it as part of my 500 point perk from Sephora and Sugar was a 100 point perk.  I loved it so much that I did buy the full size, but have not opened it yet.
I also love the packaging and wand of these glosses. They have a nice, doe foot applicator with a long wand.  An added bonus is that the glosses have vitamin A and E to keep lips nice and soft.
Bottom line: I love these! I always keep one in my makeup bag..just in case.
