NOTD~Iced Pink Lemonade~

11:05 AM

I finally took the plunge into doing more decorative nail art.  Of course it is very simple because I honestly do not have the time, patience or talent for the elaborate stuff.  For this NOTD, I used Essie's Camrea for my base coat.  For the yellow dots, I used Julep's Blake and for the glitter, I used China Glaze's Snow Globe.  I used a dotting tool to apply the yellow dots.  For the top coat, I used Cina Top Coat&Bonder.  This was my first time using one, so it is not perfect.  Which I am actually happy about because it gives the look some spunk and character.  And I have to give a huge thanks to my mom for helping me with this.  I was absolutely helpless doing my right hand.

  1. I love the color combo. And I agree with you, I just do not have the talent to do the elaborate nail art either. I usually just do a solid polish. I've tried nail art but it's proved to be a bad idea. LOL. I'd love to get myself a dotting tool. That might help. Great post :)

  2. Thanks =) I am usually a sold polish girl, too. But every now and then I will branch out. My nail art attempts are usually pretty bad, too. Lol. Horrible, actually. But a dotting tool definitely made it easier.
