Epic Sephora and Walgreens Haul9:31 AM
Well, maybe not that epic. But I am pretty excited about it. As we all know, this week is Beauty Insider Appreciation Week. Depending on you BI status, you get 2x, 3x, or 4x the points. On Monday, Sephora is going to have some insanely awesome perks. I don't expect to actually get one of these perks because they are going to sell out fast. But there are a few I have my eye on. Anyways, it seemed like a good tome to get some items that I have been eyeballing.
I made a bee line for Kat Von D's section. I had to get at least one of the new Everlasting Liquid Lippies. I ended up walking away with two: Susperia and Mother. I REALLY want Ayesha, but I don't think I can pull it off. I also got the new Tattoo Liner in Mad Max Brown.
Up next is the Clarisonic Mia 1, which was $99. Considering that most Clarisonics can cost $149 or more, I figured that was a good price. My skin has been very, very angry at me this week for some reason, so I am hoping a deeper clean will help with all of these unsightly blemishes that have popped up.
Anyone that frequents Sephora is well aware of the huge section of travel sized and other smaller items available near the registers. That area can mean certain and unavoidable doom for your budget. This time, I only walked away with a travel size Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Setting Spray because a girl needs all the help she can get.
I also got a pack of Ole Henrikson Brightening Face Wipes for my mom to try out. I also picked out a shade (Foundant) in the Sephora Collection Bright Future Gel Serum.
I have jumped on the sheet mask bandwagon and I needed to replenish my stock a little. I love the honey sheet mask by Sephora, so I got another to join the two more I have left. I also got the green tea mask in hopes of helping heal these blasted blemishes and I also got the rose eye mask.
I also did some shopping around the sale section and found a set of the OCC Matte Lip Tars for $9. It has their lip primer, a lovely peachy pink and a color that kind of reminds me of Kat Von D's Ayesha. Score.
I frequently go to Walgreens because it is the only place to get my mom's favorite sweet treat: Runts. On this trip, I got a crap ton of Rimmel products because they were buy one get one 50% off. The first thing I saw was this pack that contained two of the Stay Glossy glosses. One shade was clear and the other was All Day Seduction. They had different variations of it and the set was included in the sale. I also picked up the Natural Bronzer in Sun Light, Exaggerate Lip Pencil in Pure, ScandalEyes Mascara, ScandalEyes Eyeshadow Crayon in Trespassing Taupe, and the new Brow This Way Eyebrow Gel.
Apparently Wet n Wild has a new limited edition Center Stage collection, which includes two eyeshadow palettes and some mascara. I got both of the palettes as well as a purple mascara.
You may have seen the latest Disney collection floating around Instagram. It was not done by e.l.f, so I am not sure that it got as much buzz. They have a collection for Ariel, Mulan, and Pocahontas that includes cosmetics and bags. I only got one of the Mulan glosses and the Dare to Dream (Pocahontas) beauty book. I swsatched one of the eyeshadows last night, and it seemed surprisingly nice. I think, but I am not sure, that these were done by the same company that did the lip balms for the recent Beauty and the Beast collection.
I will have a preview post and swathes up of the limited edition Wet n Wild collection. I will be testing out a lot of the stuff today and over the rest of the week. I'll be back soon. =) I
