Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Mother and Susperia Review and Swatches4:37 PM
So, I have been walking around thinking that Kat Von D could do no better than Bauhau5, L.U.V. and Bachelorette. Guys, I was an idiot. An absolute color blind idiot. Why? Because Mother and Susperia are STUNNING! Both are rather tame compared to some of the other newly released shades, but these lovely lippies are fool proof. You need them in your life.

Mother is a gorgeous every day shade. At first it may not look like anything too special, but I don't think I have seen anything quite like it. It is described as a dusty mauve pink. On me, it looks more like a rosy pink. I don't see much mauve. Either way, it has become a fast favorite.
Susperia is described as a bright lavender. I always think of lavender as being more on the pale, pastel side. Susperia is a little darker than that. It reminds a bit of L.U.V., but it is not as bright. I included side by side swatches of the two so you can see the differences.

These are hands down my favorite liquid lipstick formula, and my favorite shades of the line so far. I like many other versions, but the Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks go above and beyond. They are so opaque and pigmented that you only need to go over your lips once. That's it. And you don't even have to worry about reapplying throughout the day. They are not streaky, patchy, or any other negative quality that goes along with matte lipsticks. They also don't feel as drying as many matte lipsticks. I have very dry lips, and I have not had a single issue with these babies. They are infused with Vitamin E and sunflower seed, which explains the high comfort level. They are also lightweight, so much so that I often forget that I am wearing them. They don't migrate, smear, accentuate dry spots, or any of that junk. They are pretty much liquid perfection.
I love the applicator, too. It is perfect for applying the product on the contours of your lips without making you look like a hot mess. As for the packaging, it is beautiful simplicity. The portion that holds the product is clear with black detail. The cap is black with silver flowers.
These are on the pricier side at $20 a pop, but they are so worth it. They are a Sephora exclusive and can be found in store and online.
