MemeBox Haul #2 And Some First Impressions4:20 PM
"Ooops....I did it again." Yeah..I am very sleep deprived. Speaking of, did anyone see Britney at the Teen Choice awards? She still looks amazing.
After my first MemeBox order, I am kind of obsessed with Korean skincare. My skin looks a thousand times better than it did last week. It still is not perfect, but it is on the mend.
This is actually two separate orders combined into one post. Some of the items I have used a few times and I will include my initial thoughts on them.
Elizavecca's Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask is a best seller on MemeBox, and with good reason. This face mask is awesome, and certainly unlike anything I have sever used. It has stickier texture than your average clay mask. It comes with a spatula that helps with application. After a minute or so, the mask begins to bubble and fizz. You leave it alone for five minutes, then gently massage it in. You are left with smooth, squeaky clean skin. It is $12 for 100g (3.5oz).
Besolbo Royal Salmon Egg Return Cream/Sleeping Pack is another interesting product. It looks like the boba's that I love loading up on when I get frozen yogurt. You use the spatula to take two out and press them against the palm of your hand to form a gel. It absorbs pretty quickly, and it isn't sticky. It makes my skin feel hydrated and nourished. This stuff is supposed to help with just about any skin irritation you could have: acne, dryness, fine lines, and dark spots. My acne and redness is a lot better, but that could be the result of my entire routine. All in all, I do like this stuff. And it is fun to use.
SNP Bird's Nest Aqua Eye Patch had rave reviews. The sounded promising, so I tried them out. I don't hate them at all, but I am unsure if they do anything for me. They do feel very refreshing and provide some relief for tired eyes. My mom used them, and they did wonders for her, though. After one use, her puffiness was greatly diminished and she looked more awake. This is not something you leave on for 5-10 minutes, You have to commit 30 minutes to these babies. I also love the fact that they are blue and sparkly. it kind of makes me feel like a water nymph. Be careful when taking them out; they are slippery. And be sure they do not get turned upside down. That can get a little messy. They are $17 and you get a lot of them. The main ingredient is 1000 mg of Swiftlet's Nest Extract, along with cabbage rose extract, aloe vera leaf extract, citrus extract, and hyaluronic acid.
Skin Factory 7 Second Morning Sheet is a re-order because I love these things so much. They take time off your morning routine, but make your skin look so good! You keep them in the fridge, and use the scrubby side of the pad to massage the essence into your skin. Flip over and use the smooth side to pat in. Presto! Your skincare routine is done except for sunscreen. Great stuff. I'll be doing a full review soon.
Korean Beauty Starter Kit for Troubled Skin is my second skincare box. The one for oily skin is amazing, too. But I felt like my skin also needed some acne care products. I still have some small bumps on my cheek that are not going away. I have only used the cleanser and toner so far. Both seem nice, though. I did not experience that dry, tight feeling that can accompany anti-acne products. And that cleanser smells amazing, too.
- Etude House AC Clinic Daily Acne Foam Cleanser $11
- Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Skin Toner $19
- Goodal Natural Clear Mild Peeling Gel $25
- Benton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel $17
- MemeMask: Hydrogel Sheet Mask
Everything in the box is full size, and it costs $39. If you were to buy everything individually, it would be $72. They just add in the mask for free. Now they have an antioxidant box, which looks really interesting. But I must restrain myself.
I hope you have had a great day! I am off to go make some macaroni and cheese.
