Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette Review and Swatches

10:51 AM

Are ya'll ready to see yet another review post about one of the most hyped palettes of all time? I certainly hope so. I'll admit, I was a little bit of a skeptic at first. I still really wanted to try it out for myself because I am such a sap for warm toned eyeshadows. I can't help myself. But when a product is this hyped up, I immediately have strong reservations and I expect said product to be a massive let down. Fortunately, that didn't happen this time around.

Let me also say that I have a palette from the second release, not back when Too Faced originally launched the Sweet Peach Palette. As a result, I cannot make any comparisons between the two.

The Sweet Peach Palette is designed the exact same way as their Chocolate Bar palettes. The layout is the same and it comes in the same kind of tin. The outside is just a lot cuter. There is an ombre effect and there are little peaches all over the palette. Like the other palettes, it has 18 beautiful shades. I'll list all of the shade names and descriptions below. I did two swatches for each shade: on the left is the finger swatch and  the brush swatch is on the right.

  • White Peach is a matte cream.
  • Nectar is a satin light peachy gold.
  • Peaches n Cream is a matte pale peach.

  • Luscious is a metallic peachy champagne. This is probably one of my favorite eyeshadows of all time.
  • Cobbler is a satin bronze with a hint of peach.
  • Georgia is a matte pale pinky peach.

  • Just Peachy is a shimmery peachy pink.
  • Candied Peach is a matte peach with violet shimmer.
  • Caramelized is a dark bronze.

  • Bless Her Heart is a satin mossy green.
  • Bellini is a peachy pink with gold shimmer.
  • Puree is a matte warm toned brown.

I have been trying this palette since Christmas, and I have used it pretty much every single day since then. It has become one of my all time favorites. With the exception of Talk Derby to Me, the pigment is great. They apply and blend very well. The only two colors that can be a little bit difficult are Delectable and Talk Derby To Me. Delectable has a good bit of fallout and it can be a little bit difficult to blend in comparison to the others. They stay on well, too. I haven't had a problem with creasing or fading at all. Texture wise, the shadows are great. They are not extremely soft and buttery, but they are not stiff. There is a happy medium that allows them to be easy to work and have good pigment with without kicking up a lot of product, This is a very versatile palette. You can do the easiest, everyday look all the way up to a purple smokey eye. And of course there is the scent. It does smell like peach. It is not overpowering, but you can smell it as soon as you open the palette. It doesn't linger at all. I like the scent because it isn't too fake or synthetic, unlike the lip glosses from this collection. But that is for another post.

I recommend this palette 110%. I prefer it over the Chocolate Bar palettes and I will continue using it a lot. It is $49 and you can find it at Ulta, Sephora, and the Too Faced website.

I'll have reviews up of more products from the Sweet Peach Collection up next in the near future.

See you soon!
